Registering Your Account
A $0.50 mailed statement fee will be applied to paper bills. To avoid this fee, customers are encouraged to take advantage of Albany Utilities’ convenient online options to view, manage, and pay their utility bills. To enroll in paperless billing, visit your MyAUPortal here. To access your account information, you must register at the secure link: myauportal.albanyga.gov
Once you register, you will receive an email that you need to confirm before completing your registration. Once the email is confirmed, you will be able to select the link to bring you to the sign-in page. Re-enter your username and password, then enter your account information.
You will need the account number. The account number will be shown as follows:

Enter the information into the search account information as seen in the following image along with your service zip code and select continue:

Once you continue you will be able to view account and pay your bill.

You may pay using your credit/debit card or checking/savings account.

Credit card/debit card or electronic check payments are handled through our Milestone Utility Services. American Express is not accepted.

A 0.5% convenience fee will be applied to all credit and debit card transactions.

There is no fee for payments made using checking/savings accounts.

No registration is required.

To keep costs down, no bill over $5,000.00 can be paid online.

Your Albany Utilities account number will be needed during the payment process.

Credit card, debit card or electronic checks are accepted over the telephone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Call us at (229) 883-8330 or dial Milestone (229) 231-0497.

Bank Draft
Albany Utilities offers a Bank Draft program for your convenience. Proper identification and a voided check for the bank account is required. The bank draft will be deducted from the bank account on the due date of the bill. Please allow four to six weeks to process.
Payment Locations
Payments can be made at locations listed below:
- 401 Pine Avenue from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday - except holidays
- Drive-thru windows located at 401 Pine Avenue.
- Two Night deposit boxes -
- One located on the east side of the main building
- The other located in Drive-thru, Lane 1

If making a payment at a local bank, your bill must be paid prior to the due date, to ensure the payment is received on time. You must present utility bill at time of payment.
Payments made after 5 p.m. will not be posted until the next business day.
