Economic Development
The Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) aims to foster a sustainable economy in Albany-Dougherty County that promotes job creation and retention, as well as the growth of local businesses. Through DCED's programs, small business owners and entrepreneurs are provided with access to capital, exterior business improvements, financial and technical assistance, and other training to enhance economic development and business success. Collectively, these programs improve the economic vitality of businesses within Albany-Dougherty County.
