The Albany Recreation and Parks Department strives to provide recreational opportunities through excellent, diverse, and comprehensive parks, facilities, programs, and events in a safe, well-maintained environment that is easily accessible to all citizens through a system of neighborhood and community parks, with well-trained and qualified staff.
Divisions
Albany Recreation & Parks features five department divisions. Each division is led by a group of recreation professionals that actively seek new ways to cater to the Good Life City through recreational programs, events and effective leadership. Divisions within Albany Recreation & Parks include:
