Albany, GA – Beginning Thursday, August 27, 2026, lane closures will be used in the 1500 block of Gillionville Road in the outside eastbound and inside westbound directions to allow crews to complete necessary water line repairs.
The work is expected to take approximately one to two days. At least one lane of traffic will remain open in each direction during the repairs.
Motorists should expect delays in the area and are encouraged to use caution when traveling through the work zone, reduce speed, and follow all posted traffic-control signs and crew directions.
The lane closures will remain in place until the repairs are complete, and the roadway can be safely reopened to normal traffic.
