Albany, GA – Albany Utilities will delay implementing the new $0.50 paper bill fee and the 0.5% credit/debit card fee that was originally going to take effect on Monday, April 6, 2026.
This delay is pending further review and discussion with staff and the Albany Utility Board.
Once a new implementation date has been set, the City will release an updated notice and share it with the media, on social media, and on our City of Albany website at albanyga.gov.
