Albany, GA – On Thursday, November 27, and Friday, November 28, 2025, the City of Albany will activate Operation Safe Place to provide people with a warm place to stay overnight.
According to the current forecast, freezing temperatures are expected overnight on the 27th and 28th.
The Albany Transit Center at 300 W. Oglethorpe Boulevard will be open from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. on Thursday and Friday. The transit Center will resume regular operations at 7 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, November 29.
