Albany, GA – As the City of Albany prepares for Albany State University’s Homecoming, drivers should be prepared for potential road closures in the W. Highland Avenue area west of S. Davis Street due to tailgating events.

Possible road closures may include the following intersections:

  • W. Highland Avenue and S. McKinley Street
  • Highland Alley and S. Van Buren Street
  • Whitney Alley and S. Van Buren Street

Drivers should use caution in these areas and follow all road signage. Please drive responsibly and use designated drivers or ride-share services to prevent drunk driving.
