Albany, GA — Today, October 16, 2025, the Albany-Dougherty County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) will be activated at 5 p.m.
In anticipation of increased activity in Downtown Albany and the surrounding areas during Albany State University’s Homecoming Parade and festivities, the City of Albany is actively preparing to ensure public safety and smooth operations.
The Dougherty County Emergency Management Agency will continue to monitor the festivities and provide updates as needed.
The EOC will be available to answer any questions beginning at 5 p.m. today. You can reach the EOC at (229) 302-1900.
