Albany, GA – On Tuesday, September 22, 2026, the City of Albany Commission voted to replace a few rubber speed tables and install several cement speed tables.

The plan is to remove three existing rubber traffic-calming devices and install 28 cement speed tables in various areas of the City.

This is part of a project that started in August of 2023.

The goal is to provide safer traffic speeds within Albany neighborhoods.
