The City of Albany Utilities, a nonprofit community based local utility provider since 1912, serves approximately 37,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers. Albany Utilities is a full-service utility providing electricity, water, natural gas, sanitary sewer, solid waste, and telecommunications. The utilities consist of two major departments: Utility Administration and Utility Operations. The City takes pride in the level of service provided to customers.
