Albany, GA – Beginning Monday, March 2, 2026, at 8 a.m., N. Monroe Street will be closed from south of Hodges Street to 11th Avenue due to construction.
The closure is expected to last approximately three days or until the work is complete.
A temporary detour route has been created on 16th Avenue for truck drivers. Residents in the area can expect to see large trucks on 16th Avenue during the three days of construction.
Drivers are encouraged to use alternative routes when possible.
