J. C. Odom, Jr. Fitness & Wellness Center offers a variety of exercise options including free weights, nautilus equipment, treadmills, stationary bikes, elliptical machines, and a variety of exercise classes. The exercise component is combined with seminars on proper nutrition and diet, weight management, and disease prevention for an emphasis on the total wellness of an individual.
Monday - Thursday from 7:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Fridays from 7:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

At J.C. Odom, Jr. Fitness & Wellness Center, facility guests may utilize the all equipment within the facility and the outside walking trail at no cost. While there is no membership fee, all facility guests must complete a membership application with one of our fitness & wellness staff members. Our memberships are open to adults 18 years of age and older. Prospective members 13 - 17 years of age are welcome to join, but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian 18 years of age or older and must be supervised at all times.
J.C. Odom, Jr. Fitness & Wellness Center is located at 1100 N. Jordan Street. This location is adjacent to C.W. Heath Park. Take US - 82 E along Liberty Expressway until you have reached Exit 4 on your right. Turn right onto Blaylock Street once you have made your exit. Turn left onto E 4th Avenue and continue along this road until you have reached Jordan Street. The facility will be on your left. Parking is free for all facility guests.

The Life Trail System is an advanced wellness system specifically designed for older adults. This system is composed of ten outdoor wellness stations placed along a beautifully designed walking path located behind J.C. Odom, Jr. Fitness & Wellness Center. Using the Life Trail System is fun, social, and a great way to exercise! The Life Trail System is accessible from dawn until dusk. Members may access the trail through the facility or may enter through the back gate closest to the C. W. Heath Park walking track.
Aspire 2 Be Fit
This new program is for members of Aspire Behavioral Health & Disability Services. It is focused on helping participants develop, improve and maintain healthy fitness and lifestyle choices. Program activities include: weight lifting, walking trail cardio activities and personal training speakers.
