Welcome to your Online Benefits page! We value your input. We want to ensure that you are receiving the best benefits for you and your family and that all information is accurately updated. This “NEW” benefits feature will allow you to access your Summary Plan Description document, link to your Network Participating Providers (PPO), request to add or change dependent coverage, order an ID card, and change your mailing address.

ShawHankins provides the City of Albany employees a Benefit Resource Center website that gives you access to all of the plan details needed to make decisions on your benefit elections. For easy access we have included important documents and links to your benefit information along with access to the bswift enrollment system on the enrollment page of the website. The Benefit Resource Center also includes videos that will discuss a high level overview of the benefit plans and ancillary coverages that you have available.

You can access the bswift enrollment system at using your member ID and password that you used at registration.

Your member ID consists of the first letter of your first name, and your last name and the last four digits of your social security. If you do not remember your pass word you will have to contact ShawHankins and they can provide you with it.

 Deferred Compensation Benefits

The City of Albany provides employees with the choice of participating in two deferred compensation plans. These plans allow an employee to make tax deferred contributions into a retirement savings account.
