Fleet Management repairs and maintains city-owned vehicles, off-road equipment and motorized equipment and provides a centrally located pool of vehicles for out-of-town travel and special projects. Fleet Management also generates specifications for new vehicles and inspects new vehicles upon delivery for compliance as well as maintaining the fuel system.
Fleet Management is a customer-oriented department committed to providing the highest quality service to all City agencies/ departments in a courteous and professional manner at all times. The department is charged with the responsibility of purchasing and maintaining safe, reliable vehicles/equipment, providing mechanical support in a timely manner and providing service and products that are safe, efficient, and cost-effective.
