Appointed Board Vacancies

The Mayor and Board of Commissioners will be making the following appointments:  Any City of Albany/Dougherty County citizen interested in these appointments shall submit to the City Clerk a letter of interest and a resume.  Please specify board of interest.

  1.  Albany/Dougherty Land Bank:  Two appointments for two-year term ending July 2022 (application is required in addition to letter and resume)
  2. Albany/Dougherty County Planning Commission:  One appointment to fill unexpired term ending Jan. 2022
  3. Aviation Commission:  Two appointments for three-year term ending July 2023
  4. Chehaw Park Authority:  Four appointments for two-year term ending July 2022 (can also reside in a contiguous county: (Worth, Mitchell, Baker, Calhoun, Terrell, Lee)
  5. Citizens Transportation Committee:  One appointment to fill unexpired term ending Jan. 2023
  6. Community Development Council:  One-year appointments ending June 2021
  7. Historic Preservation Commission:  Three appointments for two-year term ending August 2022
  8. Keep Albany/Dougherty Beautiful:  One appointment to fill unexpired term ending January 2021

 

 MAYOR’S APPOINTMENTS:

  1.  APD Civilian Review Board:  Term ending December 2021
  2. Citizens Advisory Committee:  Term ending January 2022
  3. Joint Board of Adjustment and Appeals: Term ending October 2022
