Housing and Community Development Needs Survey
The City of Albany is a recipient of federal funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and is currently preparing its 2019-2020 Annual Action Plan. The Action Plan details activities to be undertaken by the City of Albany, Department of Community and Economic Development beginning on July 1, 2019 – June 30, 2020.
Activities will include public services, fair housing, housing and economic development initiatives to address the priority needs of low-income households within the City. These types of activities have been identified within the City’s 2016-2021 Consolidated Plan (5 Year Plan), and the City seeks your input in prioritizing activities for the upcoming year with use of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) Program Funds.
An important part of this study is hearing from members of the public on issues of community needs, housing needs, and fair housing. This survey is one way we'll gather input for these plans.
Your responses will be kept strictly confidential. We’ll only report this information in combination with other survey responses and in summary format to protect your privacy.
