New Commissioner for Ward II Sworn In at Organizational Meeting
Newly elected Commissioner Matt Fuller (Ward II), was sworn-in along with re-elected Commissioner B.J. Fletcher (Ward III) and Commissioner Bob Langstaff (Ward V) in this evening’s Commission organizational meeting and swearing in of elected officials.
The newcomer to the commission obtained sufficient votes in the runoff in December to serve as Commissioner for Ward II that was previously held by Bobby Coleman. Mr. Fuller, fourth generation Albany native, owns a local custom cabinetry and millwork business. He is a member of the First United Methodist Church where he attends with his wife and two children.
Mr. Fuller stated, “I fully understand first-hand the importance of downtown development, and the beautification and maintenance of our parks to attract industries that will help us bring jobs to Albany. Together, with a new direction and positive growth, we can make our community a better place to live, work, and thrive.”
